My personal journey

Love at first sight with the consulting world: a young consultant as an industrial engineering and management graduate at the consulting firm “Ashad Engineers.” This was the milestone where I was introduced to the world of consulting, and where I grew from a junior consultant into a manager of large-scale consulting projects.

On the fast track to the world’s largest courier company: VP of Operations, UPS Israel
After five years as a consultant, I understood something very important: a consultant with hands-on managerial experience brings a clear advantage over a consultant whose entire career has been spent only in consulting. “Luck was on my side,” and I was appointed to an incredible role where I had the opportunity to roll up my sleeves and gain deep, practical experience managing complex systems involving tens of thousands of employees, vehicles, and aircraft moving packages door to door.
“I can’t explain how this miracle happens every night,” Andy Connolly, my British and famously cynical boss at UPS at the time, used to say—referring to the movement of 18 million packages every single day.
My areas of responsibility were broad and diverse, and I found myself enjoying every one of them: managing imports, customs, distribution, exports, customer service, and information systems.

A desire for change awakens: CEO of a UPS subsidiary
“Only a madman would leave a role like that.” I remember hearing that sentence clearly. Maybe I am a bit crazy—but I love change and I grow through it. This was a short, intense adventure within a company growing at an extraordinary pace, and it gave me the opportunity to face many logistical and operational challenges.

A journey across industries: Operations and Supply Chain Director in three different industries
I led roles in retail, in international shipping of artwork and personal effects, and in the lighting industry. This period allowed me to build broad and diverse professional experience, strengthening my ability to adapt dynamically across different sectors.

Returning to where it all began: Head of Operational Excellence and Supply Chain Consulting at Deloitte
I had the privilege of working at the world’s leading consulting firm and applying the world’s most advanced consulting methodologies. In this role, I supported dozens of local and global companies in addressing challenges related to performance improvement, profitability enhancement, and strengthening organizational management capabilities.

A personal crisis—and with it, an opportunity: the beginning of my independent consulting path
In the midst of a painful divorce and the dismantling of my family life, I received a call from the VP of Maman’s cargo terminal. He was the first to offer me an independent consulting project, and at that very moment, my independent consulting career began.

I found my purpose. This is my mission: a personal advisor and partner to executives and companies
I have no doubt that I am exactly where I am meant to be. This allows me to feel a deep sense of purpose in delivering outstanding service to my clients. I see myself as a true partner on the journey, and I feel a powerful sense of mission when helping leaders implement meaningful change.

Dan has been advising our company for many years, and I consider him Maman’s in-house consultant. His ability to improve performance—through both his strong engineering insight and his excellent interpersonal skills—consistently delivers results and enables us to achieve our goals, time and again.
